Dr. Melody Schiffer was born and raised in Westchester, NY. After graduating college from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, she continued her education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following dental school. Dr. Schiffer completed a residency in periodontics and implant dentistry at New York University. She then passed the comprehensive board certification process to become a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and American board of Periodontolgy. She lectures frequently around the country, and has been granted a professorship at New York University. Dr. Schiffer currently resides in Suwanee with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys community service, travelling, exercise, following Michigan football and spending time with her family.
